Share details that help someone understand what living at a property was like.
Describe what happened, not what you think the person is.
Better: “Maintenance took three weeks to repair the leaking sink.”
Avoid: “The landlord is a criminal.”
What belongs in a review
- Review properties you actually lived in.
- Describe firsthand experiences, with dates or context where helpful.
- Focus on facts and your personal experience.
- Be specific about building quality, maintenance, noise, safety, and rent.
What to leave out
- Private information, including exact unit numbers, emails, phone numbers, or someone’s identity.
- Threats, harassment, discriminatory content, or unsupported accusations.
- Advertising, copied reviews, or reviews submitted for payment or incentives.
How moderation works
New reviews and edits enter a moderation queue. We may publish, reject, or remove content that violates these guidelines. A low rating alone is not a reason to remove a review. Reports flag potential issues for review; they do not automatically remove content.
Each account can maintain one review per property. Update your existing review when your experience changes.
